Agency Rate Blast — 2027 Horseback Riding

Wells Gray Guest Ranch

British Columbia · Canada

Dear Partner,

I hope you are doing well.

As we prepare for the 2027 season, we would like to inform you that we have updated the pricing for all horseback riding activities at Wells Gray Guest Ranch. The updated FIT rate sheet is attached for your reference. The revised rates include all horseback riding products, including the Beginner Intro Ride, Kids Lead Ride, 2-Hour Trail Ride and 3-Hour Trail Ride.

This adjustment has become necessary due to the substantial increase in the costs associated with operating a high-quality horseback riding program. Over the past year alone, the purchase price of well-trained trail horses has increased dramatically — from approximately CAD $3,000 to as much as CAD $10,000 per horse. At the same time, veterinary care, farrier services, insurance, and feed costs, particularly hay, have all risen significantly.

Although the rates have increased, your commission value also increases, as it is based on the updated retail prices. We remain committed to offering competitive net rates while maintaining the quality, safety, and horse welfare standards that both your guests and ours expect.

We appreciate your continued partnership and your understanding of these necessary adjustments. We look forward to welcoming your guests to Wells Gray Guest Ranch in 2027.

Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Kind regards,

Arne Schellemans
